Little Red Ridinghood

Time to sew again :) I was inspired by a spotlight catalogue and some blog browsing one evening.  And despite all the recent and current craziness I managed to sew all saturday afternoon/evening whilst the little one was napping and the boys were helping dad.

I made this winter 'jumper' dress for our little girl. I came across this gorgeous little red Ridinghood fabric and some dark red corduroy fabric at spotlight.  I did accidentally sewed the red extra hem upside down so it looks darker (you know, if you rub the fabric one way it looks darker a bit like suede fabric what you can draw with your finger on)
The pattern is from http://www.ikatbag.blogspot.com/ and was very simple to follow :) Now to find a matching turtle neck shirt for underneath and some leggings. And I may even sew a matching bag or hair ribbon.
