Little Miss Muffet received this gorgeous doll pram from my parents for her 1st birthday. I sewed a mattress cover using a lone pink towel that was sitting in the cupboard, inserted some foam we still had in the shed (from renovating an old boat?). I based the mattress cover on a pillowcase as I still want to be able to remove it in case it needs a wash.
(My towels in our home are colour coordinated....I grew up with all the pink towels, my siblings had blue, red, green, black....) and I haven't had the need yet for the pink colours. My boys share the blue, miss muffet the baby yellow, hubby has brown (dark in case he forgets to wash some grease marks) and I have white.
I sewed a bedsheet and used ribbon for decoration, two small pillows and a bigger dark pink pillow with some white ribbon, a bed quilt....add a doll....and there we have it...a fully decked out pram
