I converted a newly purchased t-shirt for coming summer into a dress for Miss Muffet. I got the idea from here. I cut off the bottom half of the shirt,
- I cut a skirt length x the whole fabric width from some fabric I had purchased recently.
- Gathered this fabric...
- pinned it on the shirt, sewed it on....
- and result....a dress....
- I cut out a few butterflys and sewed them on (first shot at it and mucking around with stitches so not the best result, but I am happy with it none the less).
- I didn't hem....I used my new overlocker and wanted to show it off by this stitch :)
